My name is Chloe Sexton. I am a wife, mother, and wedding planner in sunny Pensacola Florida. My husband Nick and I own and operate Supposey. Supposey is an event atmosphere atelier, specializing in creating idyllic environments for weddings and large-scale community events.

I began working at a Pensacola floral shop in high school and quickly fell in love with not only flowers, but also weddings. It was clear from the first day at the shop, how much of a passion is required for vendors who do weddings. Being a part of one of the happiest days of someone's life is magical and I think all wedding vendors resonate with the pure adrenaline high you get from setting up beautiful flowers, linens, dance floors, and how everything comes together. However, it is a very physically but also mentally demanding job, that requires all your creative attention to execute correctly. In college I decided to start my own company doing flowers for weddings and after obtaining my Associate in Arts I decided to give weddings my all. Pensacola was growing at a rapid pace and so naturally the wedding industry was exploding as well.

Meanwhile my now-husband Nick had been living on South Beach working for a catering company and experiencing the high- energy luxury-level events that Miami is known for. He was working at places like the Vizcaya, which is like stepping into another world. The opulence of the gardens, sculptures, grounds leave a lasting impression to all who visit, and became very dear to Nick's heart as he worked many events there. After working in Miami for 3 years, Nick decided to move to Colorado to experience a different climate and enjoy some off time snowboarding. He tore his ACL and had to move back home to Pensacola to undergo ACL surgery. Miami in addition to Colorado had bicycle taxis known as pedicabs. Nick decided that this would be a great idea to bring home to Pensacola. After working a few events and bridal shows together we eventually met and have been inseparable ever since.

Nick began helping me with weddings delivering flowers and installing arches on the beach and at local venues. It became clear quickly to Nick that there was much more money to be made in the wedding industry with rentals, and so he pitched the idea of offering rentals with Supposey. This new offering grew and within a year Supposey bloomed into an award-winning and industry-standard name in the Pensacola event world. Clients began to request more overall involvement and assistance with the events we were designing. So, we began offering wedding coordination and planning services in 2014. We were married in 2015 and Supposey began offering all- inclusive packages for flowers, rentals, and planning services. We were able to streamline the wedding planning experience and began to develop a curriculum for a course for what any DIY Couple would need in order to effectively plan their own wedding.

In 2018 we welcomed our son Blake into the world, and the long time dream of owning a venue became our entire focus. Aspiring to control all facets of an event, from conception to completion, we were enkindled to intentionally create a venue for hosting formal and functional gatherings. In 2019 we purchased a property and began to reimagine it for weddings. Supposey Warehouse & Gardens was created out of a desire to bring a true Luxury style venue to Pensacola, and make Wedding Planning easy, and fun!

12 years later we are transformed into full-time venue refinement. Our siblings Taylor and Madison are flourishing with their acquisition of the Supposey wedding rentals business, now operating as Sexton’s Event Company.

We have loved every step of our journey, and are now looking to the future with more venues and venue education as our central focus. Thank you for joining us as we continue to serve our wedding community.
